Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Specialty Representative to cover the New Orleans territory. You will be the primary customer contact, providing clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and helping them navigate the payer landscape.

You will implement marketing plans, promote products, develop account relationships, and support access strategies while upholding Amgen values. The role offers a hybrid, flexible work schedule and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related.
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related.
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals.
• Drive territory sales by delivering planned programs and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts and ensure product access.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for products and uphold Amgen values across the sales cycle.
