Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote products, and navigate the payer environment in their territory. You will work under the guidance of the District Manager, delivering branded messages and educational programs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship-building, and a passion for improving patient outcomes across a dynamic pharmaceutical landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experienceand/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experienceand/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experienceand/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals and navigate payer environments.
• Deliver on marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Build relationships to service accounts, customize discussions, ensure product access and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Develop territory plans with the District Manager and share marketing insights.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
