Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative in the Cincinnati area. You will be the primary contact for medical professionals, sharing clinical knowledge of Amgen products and helping customers navigate payer environments.

The role focuses on delivering marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products under the guidance of the District Manager. You will build relationships, tailor discussions, support product access, and resolve reimbursement issues while driving sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales/clinical experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales/clinical/healthcare experience.
• Pharma/biotech related experience and life sciences background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and programs to achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, customize discussions based on customer needs, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative.
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values in all activities.
• Adhere to corporate policies and ethical standards while achieving sales goals.
