Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to provide clinical knowledge to medical professionals and navigate payer environments. This role supports a Texas territory including College Station, Conroe, Bryan, Spring, Huntsville, with relocation not offered.

The position focuses on delivering Amgen products, promoting treatments, and building strong relationships with customers under the District Manager. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals
• Lead as a sales leader to achieve territory sales through branded messages, programs, and education
• Develop relationships to service accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and learn
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle
