Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to engage with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate the payer environment.

You will serve as the primary customer contact, implement marketing strategies, and build relationships to ensure product access, while upholding Amgen values and driving sales within your territory across oncology, inflammation, and other specialties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Preferred qualifications include sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, and related industries
• 3 years+ experience preferred for Senior Specialty Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales with branded messages and educational programs
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze territory performance, and develop territory plans
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and uphold Amgen values
