Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative in the Los Angeles area to serve patients by delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and navigating complex payer environments.

The role builds relationships, promotes branded messages, and drives territory sales through in-person and virtual engagement. Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits accompany flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related; or Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related; or High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead as a sales leader to achieve territory sales and conduct programs, including educational programs and virtual engagements.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative.
