Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, communicate clinical benefits, and promote Amgen products within the Los Angeles and Compton territory. The role emphasizes delivering branded messages, conducting educational programs, and achieving sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or Associate’s degree with 4 years of sales experience or high school diploma with 6 years of sales experience (Specialty Representative).
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales experience and/or healthcare/clinical experience (Senior Specialty Representative).
• Preferred qualifications include sales/clinical experience in pharma/biotech, oncology, cardiology, inflammation, and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and support appropriate product utilization.
• Lead branded sales programs and educational activities to meet or exceed territory sales targets.
• Develop accounts, address access and reimbursement issues, and manage contracts within the territory.
• Contribute to territory planning, gather feedback on marketing strategy, and share best practices with colleagues.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and uphold company values across all interactions.
