Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, educate them on Amgen products, and navigate complex payer environments. You will implement marketing strategy, promote products, and strive to exceed sales targets through in-person and virtual engagements.

The role requires strong sales background and industry knowledge, with opportunities across oncology, inflammation, and other therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4+ years of sales experience with Associate degree, or 6+ years with HS diploma.
• Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience in pharma/biotech or healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong adaptability, communication and relationship-building skills with a focus on sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead as a sales leader to achieve territory sales through branded messages and programs.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensure product access, and address reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for products and sustain that passion through the sales cycle.
