Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Manager of Patient Services to lead a team of Specialty Liaisons located in clinics within hospital settings. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coach staff, and ensure adherence to best practices across sites.

This role drives patient satisfaction, payer coordination, and clinic workflow improvements, partnering with Shields leadership and analytics teams to meet performance targets and expand our specialty pharmacy program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience.
• 5 years in healthcare or pharmacy with direct patient and clinician contact.
• Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License required; CPhT preferred.
• Prior licensed pharmacy technician experience is advantageous.
• Experience in outpatient, hospital, or clinic settings with physicians and nurses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Specialty Liaison team, directing activities to deliver high-quality patient experiences.
• Coach and develop staff; reinforce Shields culture at partner sites.
• Provide ongoing performance coaching, feedback, training, and development.
• Facilitate effective communication among liaison team, pharmacy, and clinic staff.
• Meet or exceed site targets for clinic service, growth, and patient outcomes.
• Identify and implement improvements with health system partners to drive growth and efficiency.
• Ensure coverage for liaisons and accountability to best practices for all key tasks.
• Collaborate with data analytics and support centers to execute opportunities.
