Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Manager of Patient Services in Louisiana-based hybrid schedule with 50% travel across LA/MS. You will lead a team of pharmacy liaisons in hospital clinic settings, coaching and developing staff while driving patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with health system partners, performance management, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• 5 years working in healthcare or pharmacy with direct patient and clinician contact.
• Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License; National Certification as a CPhT preferred.
• Licensed pharmacy technician experience is a plus.
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings communicating with physicians and nurses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialty liaison team to deliver high-quality patient experiences.
• Coach and develop liaison team and uphold Shields culture.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to liaison teams.
• Coordinate communication between liaison, Shields, pharmacy and clinics.
• Meet site operational targets for service, growth, and patient outcomes.
• Identify and implement improvement initiatives with health system partners.
• Ensure coverage for liaisons when absent from work.
• Collaborate with leadership to execute strategic initiatives.
• Provide performance updates to Shields leadership.
