Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Licensed pharmacist with healthcare setting experience required.
• 5+ years in healthcare/pharmacy with patient and clinician contact.
• Experience in retail, hospital or provider setting communicating with physicians and nurses.
• Strong communication skills; proficient in Excel and Word.
• Ability to learn new programs and extract relevant information.
• Excellent organizational skills and performance management.
• Patient-centered and team-oriented leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned Specialty Liaison team and ensures the highest quality patient experience.
• Coach and develop liaison team and instill Shields culture at health system partner site.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to liaison teams.
• Facilitate effective communication between liaison, Shields, pharmacy, and clinic teams.
• Meet or exceed site operational targets surrounding clinic service, growth, and patient satisfaction & outcomes.
• Proactively identify and implement improvement initiatives at health system partners to drive growth and efficiency.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to implement strategic growth initiatives including new clinic launches.
• Provide performance updates to Shields leadership team.
• Ensure coverage for Specialty Liaisons when absent from work.
• Ensure the use of best practices for prior authorizations, patient financial assistance, medication refills, patient appointments, and outreach.
