Job summary

Amgen in the United States seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve as the primary customer contact, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and guiding them through the payer environment.

You will implement marketing strategies, promote products, develop relationships with accounts, manage reimbursement issues, and help achieve territory sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagement, all while upholding Amgen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and sales experience.
• Clinical knowledge and ability to communicate with medical professionals.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or related healthcare industries preferred.
• Leadership experience and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of oncology, cardiology, inflammation and other specialties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Deliver marketing strategies and promote products as directed by the District Manager.
• Communicate product benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
• Develop relationships to service accounts and manage access and reimbursement.
• Analyze territory performance and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices.
• Uphold Amgen values and ethics throughout the sales cycle.
