Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, communicate clinical benefits, and promote Amgen products within a defined U.S. territory that includes Amarillo, TX and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes providing product knowledge, navigating payer environments, and achieving sales targets, with flexible work models and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR
• Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages, conduct planned programs, and achieve or exceed sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including discussions tailored to customer needs and ensuring product access.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn from each other to grow as a Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle while upholding company values and ethics.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Associate’s Degree + 4 years of Sales experience

High school diploma/GED + 6 years of Sales experience
