Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate the payer environment. This is a field-based sales role supporting oncology, inflammation, and other therapeutic areas.

The role requires strong sales experience, healthcare or scientific background, and the ability to develop territory plans, drive programs, and build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced biotech setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related; Associate degree and 6 years; High school diploma/GED and 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, and achieving sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze activity effectiveness, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialist.
