Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to deliver clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and guide payor navigation. You will serve as the primary contact for customers and implement marketing strategy to promote Amgen products within a Virginia-based territory.

This role requires building relationships, delivering on sales targets, and collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of sales experience or 3+ years plus clinical healthcare experience (Senior level) depending on education.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of payer and product access considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Lead branded sales programs and achieve territory targets.
• Develop accounts and manage contracts, discussing access and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with district team to share best practices and strategies.
