Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative in Virginia Beach to serve as the primary link between medical professionals and Amgen. You will provide clinical knowledge of our products and navigate payer guidelines to support appropriate utilization.

In this field-based role you will lead branded sales efforts, develop territory plans with the District Manager, build durable accounts, and collaborate with colleagues to share strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher; 4 years of Sales experience (or 6 years with a HS diploma)
• 2–3 years of healthcare/clinical exposure is advantageous
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, or related fields is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals
• Drive territory sales by delivering branded messages and coordinating educational programs
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including access and reimbursement considerations
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values
