Senior Specialist- Production Services

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist to join our Production Services Payments Enablement team. This role is located in PGH.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for supporting critical financial systems and interfaces that enable secure, accurate, and timely processing of transactions and message flows across internal platforms and external financial networks.
• The role focuses on monitoring and supporting a suite of business‑critical applications, ensuring the reliable routing, translation, and processing of financial messages and transactions.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining system stability, resolving production issues, and coordinating across teams to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 4‑6 years of experience in applications support or production environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Strong experience supporting Linux‑based production environments.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, services, and cloud‑based operational support.
• Working knowledge of mainframe systems and integration with distributed platforms.
• Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with high‑availability transaction processing or messaging environments.
• Strong understanding of application deployments, change management, and implementation support.
• Ability to manage risk, prioritize issues, and work effectively in high‑pressure production environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and locations.
