Job summary

Busey Bank seeks a Special Assets Commercial Underwriter II who delivers precise credit underwriting to support portfolio management and new business development for assigned Relationship Managers.

You will analyze financial data, prepare CCAR memos, evaluate collateral, and assist with portfolio reviews and opportunity memos. Strong MS Office skills and accounting knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance required.
• 5+ years of Commercial Credit experience.
• 2+ years in Commercial Underwriter role.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loans and prepare CCAR memos with risk analysis.
• Spread and analyze financial statements and compute DSCR/FCCR.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to prepare loan approvals.
• Evaluate collateral, industry data and credit information.
• Support portfolio management and monitoring activities.
• Assist with opportunity memos for new/existing relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of loan policy and systems (nCino).
• Support sales calls with Relationship Managers.
