Busey Bank is seeking a Special Assets Commercial Underwriter II in the Dallas area. The role focuses on accurate credit underwriting to support portfolio management and new business development for assigned Relationship Managers.

The candidate will spread financial statements, analyze DSCR/FCCR, and prepare CCAR memos, while coordinating with Relationship Managers and Lending staff. Requires Bachelor’s in Business/Finance and 5+ years in Commercial Credit, plus 2+ years in underwriter roles.

• Knowledge of financial accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement spreading and ratio calculations per guidelines.
• Assess cash flow, liquidity, profitability, and leverage to evaluate credit risk.
• Prepare CCAR memos with borrower strengths and weaknesses for review.
• Evaluate collateral and industry data for credit decisions.
• Assist with portfolio management tasks and covenant testing.
