Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Special Assets Commercial Underwriter II to provide accurate credit underwriting to support portfolio management and business development for assigned Relationship Managers.

Responsibilities include financial analysis, CCAR memo preparation, collateral evaluation, and collaboration with lending staff. Requires a Bachelor’s in Business or Finance and 5+ years Commercial Credit experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance.
• Requires 5+ years of Commercial Credit experience.
• Requires 2+ years of Commercial Underwriter experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit underwriting including financial statement spreading and ratio analysis.
• Prepare Commercial Credit Approval Requests (CCAR memos) with risk assessments.
• Evaluate collateral, industry data and other credit information.
• Assist with portfolio management duties and monitoring reports.
• Support Relationship Managers in the sales process and client calls.
• Approve loans within authority; participate in pipeline meetings.
