Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Hardware Engineer in Seattle to design, develop, and test spacecraft avionics systems, including command, data handling, and RF communications. This hands-on role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful vehicle integration.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and over 7 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include hardware design from component level to integrated system within an exciting aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in avionics and power hardware development.
• Demonstrated experience as a hands-on engineer designing and building electronic systems.
• Understanding of designing for the space radiation environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop avionics systems including power distribution and RF communications.
• Perform hands-on fabrication and testing of engineering-level hardware.
• Define and manage requirements for various sensors and their electrical interfaces.
