Job summary

Iridium Satellite LLC is seeking a Senior Deputy Program Manager, Engineering to lead a Space Development Agency (SDA) program. You will partner with senior management to shape strategic plans and ensure delivery of end-to-end system solutions, balancing scope, cost, and schedule across cross-functional teams.

You will manage multiple activities and cross-functional projects, driving high-impact outcomes while communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or science.
• 10+ years USG development/operational PM experience.
• 5+ years managing complex technical projects.
• Experience with DoD/IC satellite programs preferred.
• Experience leading Scaled Agile projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans with senior management for the program's technical vision.
• Coordinate and deliver multiple complex assignments within timeline and budget.
• Ensure projects meet financial targets and estimates to complete.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to deliver quality results and manage funds.
• Provide leadership and brief senior leadership on risks and decisions.
• Maintain and apply configuration management practices across the program.
• Support proposal development for future contracts and amendments.
• Provide clear briefings and manage significant risks and issues.
