Job summary

Iridium Satellite LLC, a leader in global satellite communications, seeks a Senior Deputy Program Manager, Engineering to guide strategic plans and multi-team delivery on a high-impact SDA project. You will manage cross-functional activities, align on technical vision, and ensure performance within budget and schedule.

The role requires extensive program management experience, DoD/IC satellite program exposure, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive complex solutions for

Qualifications

• 10+ years of USG development and/or operational program management experience.
• 5+ years of management of complex technical projects, preferably DoD/IC satellite programs
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or science

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for the program's technical vision and delivery of high-quality results.
• Coordinate delivery of multiple complex assignments within identified timelines and budgets.
• Ensure projects meet financial targets and are aligned with project pipelines and estimates to complete.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure quality results and appropriate use of funds.
• Provide leadership and strategic guidance on program design and delivery.
• Maintain configuration management practices for requirements and planning basis.
• Support proposal development and execution for future contracts.
• Brief senior leadership and manage risks and issue resolution.
