Job summary

Iridium Satellite LLC is seeking a Senior Deputy Program Manager, Engineering to lead the SDA program, coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering a robust end-to-end system solution. The role reports to senior management and focuses on strategic planning, technical execution, and customer-focused delivery.

You will drive complex projects, manage budgets, and collaborate with partners to meet contractual objectives while navigating multi-million-dollar impacts for Iridium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or science.
• Proven program management in USG or. DoD/IC context is a plus.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans with senior management for the program's technical vision and deliverables.
• Coordinate delivery of multiple complex assignments within identified timelines and budgets.
• Ensure projects meet financial targets and pipeline budgets.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure quality results and proper funding usage.
• Provide strategic leadership in program design and decision making.
• Manage requirements and planning with configuration management practices.
• Support proposal development and execution for future contracts.
• Brief senior leadership on risks and issues and mitigation plans.
