Job summary

Iridium Communications Inc. in Reston, VA, seeks a Space Development Agency (SDA) Program Manager to lead strategic planning and execution for a high-impact program.

You will guide cross-functional teams to deliver complex satellite-related solutions, while coordinating with senior management on schedule, cost, and performance metrics. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (or ability to obtain one) and US citizenship, with travel up to 20% and a hybrid work model

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering, mathematics, or science or equivalent military experience in lieu of degree.
• 12+ years of US Government development and/or operational program management experience are required.
• 5+ years of management of complex technical projects, preferably on DoD/IC satellite programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for the program's technical vision with senior management.
• Coordinate delivery of complex assignments within timeline and budget.
• Ensure financial performance targets and contract deliverables are met.
• Lead risk management, governance, and executive communications.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor cost, schedule, and performance.
