Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support USSF OTTI IPO and Space Systems Command’s System Delta 81. You will contribute to the development, integration, and sustainment of test and training capabilities for USSF readiness.

You will work with government and industry stakeholders in a fast-paced DoD environment, leveraging SE principles, SysML, and Cameo to deliver secure, capable solutions. This on-site role requires travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
• MS/ME/MA in Systems Engineering or related field.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration to evaluate system and capability solutions.
• Perform DRM engineering and supporting system analysis.
• Develop and refine CONOPS to support mission and operational requirements.
• Develop and manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and system validation activities.
• Perform change management and technical analysis to assess impacts to system requirements, interfaces, and program objectives.
• Assess, align, and integrate PPBE activities with technical efforts supporting OTTI.
• Support systems engineering activities throughout RDT&E, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government, engineering, acquisition, and program stakeholders to support successful system delivery.
