Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer Subject Matter Expert to support USSF missions. You will provide senior-level systems engineering across acquisition, integration, and sustainment in a fast-paced DoD environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates deep SE expertise, strategic insight, and strong communication skills to enable successful program execution and system delivery.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• 15+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering, RDT&E, or related programs.
• Experience with SPOs/PMOs and system/capability delivery.
• Experience with space test and training materiel systems.
• Knowledge of JCIDS and DoDAF processes and artifacts.
• Ability to work on-site full-time with 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies and concept exploration for advanced solutions.
• Conduct DRM engineering and mission-level systems analysis.
• Develop CONOPS to support requirements.
• Manage system requirements, ICDs, test plans, and validation activities.
• Provide guidance to leadership for system delivery.
