Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support USSF OTTI and Space Systems Command. The role spans requirements, ICDs, verification, CONOPS, and program integration to sustain mission-critical space operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of DoD systems engineering and space-domain experience, with a TS clearance and strong collaboration across government and industry teams. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• 10+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering, RDT&E, or related programs.
• Experience delivering to SPOs/PMOs and managing system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration for system solutions.
• Develop and manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans.
• Support DRM engineering, CONOPS, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with government and stakeholders to deliver capabilities.
• Align PPBE activities with technical efforts for OTTI support.
