Job summary

The Space Utilization and Planning Analyst III/IV at the University of Utah administers the Archibus platform to support institutional space planning, facilities management, and strategic decision‑making. You will ensure accuracy of space inventory, occupancy records, and related data across campus.

You will develop reports and dashboards using AutoCAD, Archibus, GIS, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau, collaborating with Academic Affairs, Facilities, IT, and other stakeholders to guide capital planning

Qualifications

• Equivalency: 1 year of higher education can substitute for 1 year of related work experience.
• Space Utilization Analyst III: bachelor’s + 6 years or master’s + 4 years of related work.
• Space Utilization Analyst IV: bachelor’s + 8 years or master’s + 6 years of related work.
• Preferences include Archibus administration, space planning, and data governance.
• Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or GIS.

Responsibilities

• Perform data driven space utilization analysis and planning.
• Develop space plans, layouts, visualizations, and recommendations using AutoCAD, Archibus, GIS.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess space needs for renovations or new construction.
• Lead enterprise system enhancements and data governance initiatives.
