Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the New Glenn Upper Stage and Payload Accommodations program. You will perform systems engineering activities, develop verification plans, and author requirements while coordinating with vehicle operations teams.

You will lead trade studies, manage margins, and contribute to safety analyses and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and delivering safe, reliable spaceflight hardware.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Fluids, Thermal, Propulsion, Cryogenics or Pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on experience in developing, authoring, and implementing integrated tests or operating launch vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support Vehicle and Ground System Leads by performing systems engineering activities per Blue Origin standards.
• Develop and implement verification plans to verify requirements.
• Author requirements, perform decomposition, analysis, traceability, and verification.
• Coordinate interfaces between internal and external customers.
