Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Fluid Systems Design Engineer II to join the Upper Stage Development team for New Glenn. You will lead design, development, manufacturing, and testing of fluid systems for the 4-engine second stage, engaging in thermo-fluid modeling, GD&T, and test readiness coordination.

Role requires hands-on work on-site in multiple locations, with travel up to 30%. You’ll collaborate across groups to ensure systems work together and meet safety and performance goals for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience with complex fluid systems.
• Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle fluid system component design.

Responsibilities

• Design fluid component hardware to meet cost, performance, and schedule constraints.
• Design and route complex fluid subsystems (pressurization, pneumatics, propellant utilization).
• Create and own development, acceptance, and qualification test activities for hardware.
