CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Digital/Mixed-Signal Electronics team. You will drive full-stack hardware development for space-ready modules, from concept through test and production, including leadership of small engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes rigorous analysis, wafer-to-board verification, and hands-on bring-up in a startup-like environment to deliver high-reliability space electronics.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 5+ years of board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
• Experience with rigorous aerospace hardware design and validation.
• Expertise in digital and mixed-signal electronics, signal integrity, and SDR apps.
• Proven ability to lead small hardware engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of complex electronics modules from concept to production.
• Lead hardware development for SDRs, SBCs, and telemetry subsystems for space applications.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers to build technical understanding.
• Prepare design review materials for customers and executives.
• Coordinate with software and mechanical teams to streamline development.
