Job summary

Muon Space in the United States seeks a Senior BD Manager to own the end-to-end commercial and civil space capture process, from discovery to closure. You will collaborate with Mission Engineering and Product to deliver integrated solutions and accelerate pipeline velocity.

Candidates have 7+ years in BD and 5+ in aerospace, with full lifecycle experience and strong relationship skills. This role is based near our Northern Virginia / DC area with equity and a competitive compensation package,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant technical experience in Aerospace
• 7+ years of direct business development or sales experience
• Full lifecycle BD experience: lead gen, discovery, capture, proposals
• Proven track record managing complex external relationships
• Strong interpersonal communication across organization levels

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by owning end-to-end commercial and civil space business capture
• Lead customer discovery and lead generation to identify opportunities
• Collaborate with Mission Engineering and Product to deliver integrated solutions
• Manage active pipeline opportunities and increase deal velocity
• Implement qualification criteria and price estimation frameworks for standard deals
• Deliver market sizing reports and customer insights for next-gen verticals
• Oversee deal closure and ensure smooth pre-sales to execution transition
