Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Sr. Director of Business Development to lead and grow the USG Federal market, focusing on the Intelligence Community and Department of War.

You will mentor the BD team, develop capture strategies, and drive customer engagements from initial contact through awarded contracts. Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace/defense with 8+ years in Business Development.
• Able to build a plan and execute with clear ownership and minimal oversight.
• Experience with USG captures and supporting and/or leading proposals.
• Demonstrated success capturing space business within the IC.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• Active TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive near and long term growth for Muon Space in the USG Federal market.
• Lead and manage the Federal BD team.
• Develop multi-year capture strategy for the portfolio.
• Lead customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts.
• Provide thought leadership for target organizations and strategy.
• Lead proposals and RFI responses; develop win themes and Price to Win.
