Job summary

Muon Space seeks a Sr. Director of Business Development to lead the US Government BD efforts within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense sectors from the Northern Virginia region.

You will oversee the BD team, drive multi-year capture plans, and lead customer engagements to create and win new contracts. Responsibilities include leading proposals, coordinating with engineering, legal and finance, mentoring staff, and advancing Muon Space’s growth in national security programs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of aerospace/defense BD experience.
• 8+ years in Business Development in the USG space.
• Proven track record capturing IC/DoD opportunities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive near-term and long-term growth for Muon Space in USG Federal market.
• Lead and manage the Federal BD team.
• Develop multi-year capture strategy for the portfolio.
• Lead customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts.
• Lead proposals and RFI responses, develop win themes and price-to-win.
