Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a senior Sourcing Engineer to lead supplier selection, engage strategic suppliers, and drive cost engineering across NPI. The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering, 6+ years in sourcing or related design, willingness to travel 10–40%, and the ability to relocate onsite.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement or design of electronics/mechanical devices.
• Experience with value/TCO analyses at component/product level.
• Willingness to travel 10–40% depending on program needs.
• Relocation onsite to Costa Mesa, CA if not local.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection using approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development with clear statements of work.
• Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing for ramped production.
• Manage CAPEX across NPI and drive BOM risk assessment and alternate sourcing.
• Lead cost engineering to convergeBottom-up cost curves toward product cost and total cost of ownership.
• Handle ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs and cost inflation.
