Job summary

Responsibilities include supplier selection, BOM development, CAPEX management during NPI, value-stream mapping, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
• Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO at component/product level.
• Willingness to travel 10–40% and onsite relocation to Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection using approved supplier list.
• Collaborate with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
• Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing.
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI.
• Perform value-stream mapping to optimize lead time and flexibility.
• Lead cost engineering to converge bottom-up costs to product cost.
• Manage ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs and inflation.
