Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in progressive roles.
• Experience with technical procurement.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with leading ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of buyers to ensure timely purchase orders.
• Collaborate with Product Sourcing Engineers on supplier selection and cost targets.
• Translate strategic sourcing direction into day-to-day procurement execution.
• Coordinate during NPI phases to align procurement timelines and BOM readiness.
• Drive cross-functional projects to hit cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Monitor KPIs and surface risks to the team and engineers early.
• Identify best sources and validate supplier capabilities with engineering.
• Execute cost reduction initiatives with sourcing engineers.
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
• Manage the Approved Supplier List expansion/ consolidation.
• Conduct market research to maintain a best-in-class supply base.
• Place POs and resolve downstream issues with receiving/finance.
• Maintain procurement master data in ERP; own cradle-to-grave process.
