Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to lead strategic supply network development and cost management for the Counter Intrusion portfolio. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to optimize supplier selection, feature trade-offs, and BOM readiness.

The role requires 6+ years in sourcing engineering and the ability to travel 10–40% with onsite relocation to Costa Mesa.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field.
6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
Willingness to travel 10%–40% of the time and relocate onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

Conduct supplier selection using the approved supplier list.
Collaborate with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development with clear statements of work and BOM development.
Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with QA & Manufacturing to ramp production.
Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and lead cost engineering activities to converge costs toward product cost.
Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
Address BOM risk, alternate sourcing, and component qualifications ahead of production.
Handle ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs and import/export costs.
