Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to lead strategic supply network development and cost management across product lifecycles by collaborating with suppliers and cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

You will drive supplier selection, develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM, manage CAPEX through NPI, conduct value‑stream mapping, complete BOM risk assessments, and push for cost optimization to maximize total cost of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field.
6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs.
Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using the approved supplier list.
Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via concept scoping, trade studies, and clear statements of work.
Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing.
Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and lead cost engineering activities to optimize TCO.
Conduct value‑stream mapping to improve lead time and flexibility, and complete BOM risk assessments.
