Job summary

The Global Ambassador Hotel is seeking a Sommelier to strengthen their wine program across multiple dining venues. You will curate an engaging wine list, recommend pairings, and educate guests while supporting service staff in a luxury, team-driven environment.

Joining a Michelin-recognized, globally inspired hotel with six dining concepts, you will lead tastings, stay current on wine trends, and help maintain a well-organized cellar in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of luxury dining room and/or wine experience is required to apply.
• Curate and maintain an engaging wine list in collaboration with the chefs and management team.
• Train and support wait staff by sharing wine knowledge and pairing insights.
• Stay current on wine trends, regions, and winemaking techniques.
• Uphold health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Curate and maintain an engaging wine list in collaboration with the chefs and management team
• Offer thoughtful food and wine pairing recommendations that elevate the guest's dining experience
• Educate and guide guests through the wine selection, sharing knowledge about varietals, regions, and styles
• Ensure the wine cellar is properly stocked, organized, and managed to support service needs
• Train and support wait staff by sharing wine knowledge and pairing insights
• Plan and host wine tastings and special events to enhance guest engagement and brand experience
• Uphold all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
• Stay current on wine trends, regions, and winemaking techniques to continually enhance offerings
