Job summary

Super Micro Computer is seeking a Sr. Solutions Manager to grow opportunities for in-house embedded solutions. You will engage, develop, and expand our customer portfolio in edge computing and IoT, represent Supermicro at major trade shows, and help shape product and solution roadmaps.

You will network with clients and lead cross-functional teams to win new business. The role calls for driving revenue growth, managing integration projects from concept to delivery, and collaborating with sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experiences.
• 8+ years of experience in business development or promoting embedded solutions, IPC, or server/computer hardware products solutions.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills with C-level clients.
• Excellent negotiation and marketing skills; track record of winning mid to large clients/business.

Responsibilities

• Set customer acquisition and revenue growth targets with management.
• Develop and execute customer acquisition plans with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to secure customers and retain them.
• Lead pre-sales engagement by guiding cross-functional design of solution proposals.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with clients and prospects.
• Create solutions from proof of concept to market-ready products.
• Manage solution integration projects from design to delivery; be escalation point for solutions.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing to keep product roadmaps competitive.
• Provide product trainings to internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Provide feedback to inform solution and product roadmap.
