Job summary

CommScope seeks a senior technical sales engineer to provide pre- and post-sales direction to sales teams, partners, consultants and end-users. You will ensure account managers, consultants and customers receive the latest technical information and demonstrations of CommScope differentiators.

Role includes delivering solutions presentations, supporting product rollouts, and assisting with bid specifications and warranty outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in electronics, telecommunications, computer science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
Good understanding of LAN/WAN systems and physical media requirements, including wireless, IoT and buildings applications.
Current industry technical certification preferred (BICSI RCDD, SYSTIMAX, NETCONNECT, FTTH).
Computer and office skills: MS Office, Windows/Unix OS, Visio or CAD drawing.
Minimum 5 years of structured cabling system design experience.
Knowledge of local building, electrical and data-communication codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Provide technical direction for pre- and post-sales staff and support activities to develop customer solutions, liaising with customers.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to provide pre- and post-sales application engineering support, including traveling to customer facilities.
