Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Senior Field Applications Engineer to act as the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Field Applications Engineering or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of connectors and interconnect systems.
• Experience with CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Partner with Regional Sales Managers to identify and close new opportunities.
• Drive design wins by understanding customer applications and recommending Amphenol solutions.
• Support customers through the full product development cycle from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and Manufacturing on customized solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and design reviews.
• Provide guidance on connector products and application support.
• Review customer drawings using CAD tools.
