Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in Field Applications Eng., Design Eng., or similar.
• Strong knowledge of connectors and interconnect systems.
• Experience supporting product design through production.
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with CAD software (Creo or SolidWorks).
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with Regional Sales.
• Drive design wins by understanding customer applications and Amphenol solutions.
• Support customers through concept, design, qualification, and production.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing on customized solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and design reviews.
• Provide technical guidance on connectors and interconnect products.
• Review customer drawings/specifications using CAD tools (Creo or SolidWorks).
• Influence design decisions by showcasing technical advantages.
• Support new product launches and relay customer feedback to teams.
• Monitor industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Travel regularly to customer sites to strengthen relationships.
