SMC is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to represent the company in developing new and existing OEM accounts across the Midwest. You will drive growth by presenting automation capabilities, building trusted relationships, and coordinating solutions with our engineering teams.

In this role you will manage the full sales cycle, generate detailed account plans and forecasts, track opportunities in CRM, and travel to customer sites as needed to close deals and ensure client success.

Responsibilities

• Represents SMC to current and prospective target customers
• Presents SMC capabilities, services and products
• Own and manage customer relationship
• Develop and execute detailed customer action plan and forecast
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision makers
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor strategies
• Monitor project timelines and milestones
• Use CRM to align customer data regionally and globally
• Travel to customer sites as needed
