Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for enterprise pre-sales in the Illinois/Great Lakes territory. Qualifications

• Recent, proven experience in a customer-facing Pre-Sales role with quota attainment and wins in large enterprise accounts.

Responsibilities

• Master the Discovery Process: uncover customer pain points and map them to Okta's integrations and architecture.
• Navigate Complex Organizations: translate technical concepts into business value for CISOs, IT Security leaders, Identity Engineers, and Architects.
• Differentiate and Win: articulate differentiators, highlight available architecture, compliance, and platform coverage.
• Pioneer AI Visibility & Control: guide customers on discovering unmanaged AI agents and establishing a centralized control plane for all identities.
• Drive Value-Based Outcomes: lead technical evaluation phases and tie Okta capabilities to breach protection and resilience.
• Be a Trusted Advisor: build consultative relationships as an identity security expert.
