Job summary

Andela is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical partner to customers, Sales, and Delivery. You will lead discovery, translate business needs into technical requirements, and shape multi-portfolio solutions to ensure deliverability.

You will contribute to evolving sales engineering practices, including AI-assisted qualification, demonstrations, and internal tooling, while working on complex customer opportunities across Talent Solutions, AI Solutions, and Learning &

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant professional experience in Sales Eng/Consulting/Architecture.
Strong technical fluency across modern software development, cloud architecture, data platforms, APIs, and AI-enabled systems.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead technical discovery and translate business problems into practical solutions.
Experience evaluating architecture, tradeoffs, dependencies, risks, and delivery considerations.
Strong customer-facing communication and storytelling skills across senior and technical audiences.
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Product, Engineering, or related teams.
Familiarity with modern AI tech such as generative AI, LLM-based apps, agents, and AI-assisted workflows.
Builder mindset in evolving environments with developing offerings and tooling.
Experience with managed services, technical assessments, or data engineering is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and qualification with business and technical stakeholders to understand objectives, environments, constraints, capabilities, and outcomes.
Shape customer solutions by developing initial architecture, scope, delivery model, team structure, and timelines.
Work across Andela's portfolio to route needs to Talent Solutions, AI Solutions, or Learning & Assessment Solutions.
Bring technical depth to the sales process through architecture discussions, demonstrations, and proposals.
Partner with Delivery and specialist teams to validate approaches before commitments.
Contribute to sales engineering methodology including assessments, demonstrations, and internal tooling.
Turn field experiences into reusable playbooks, content, and solution patterns.
