Job summary

At Atlassian, the DX Solutions Engineering Team seeks a Pre-Sales Senior Solutions Engineer to drive technical evaluations during the sales cycle and design integrations that demonstrate our platform value. You will partner with Account Executives and run POCs, outlining deployment best practices, and translating technical concepts into business value for enterprise prospects.

Qualifications

Exposure to programming with a solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services.
Experience with version control systems like Git and the GitHub CLI.
Familiarity with SQL.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Evaluations: drive all technical aspects of the sales cycle including POCs and pilots.
Discovery and Strategy: lead technical discovery sessions to understand client goals.
Consultative Questioning: ask detailed questions about engineering processes and tooling.
Solution Design: propose tailored technical solutions for integrating APIs with client workflows.
Trusted Advisory: provide strategic deployment guidance and analytics integration.
Feedback Loop: capture insights to inform product roadmap.
