Job summary

At Atlassian, the DX Solutions Engineering Team is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to drive growth of the DX product (getdx.com). You will be the solution expert throughout the sales cycle, solving commercial and midmarket prospects' complex business problems using our products and helping close critical deals.

Responsibilities include leading technical evaluations with Account Executives, guiding discovery and strategy, consultative questioning, and design of tailored API

Qualifications

• Exposure to programming (Ruby/Rails preferred) with a solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and the GitHub CLI.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Evaluations across the sales cycle with Account Executives.
• Discovery and Strategy: run technical discovery sessions to understand client needs and goals.
• Consultative Questioning: ask detailed questions about engineering processes, branching, and workflows.
• Solution Design: design tailored API integrations to meet evaluation success criteria.
• Trusted Advisory: provide guidance on deployment methodologies and analytics integrations.
• Feedback Loop: collect technical feedback to inform product improvements.
